Milestones in DRAABE's company history


1949

Hans-Jürgen Draabe founds the company in Hamburg

 

1960-1980

As the sole importer of the DEFENSOR equipment program (Switzerland), DRAABE becomes Germany's leading supplier of air humidification systems 
 

1983

DRAABE presents the transportable "pure water container", its first proprietary development

 

1986

DRAABE launches the DRAABE BioSafe compressed air nozzle system and becomes the first ever manufacturer of a combined water treatment and air humidification system

 

1991

The DRAABE air humidification system is granted a German patent

 

1996

The world's first high-pressure nozzle system: "DRAABE DI Puls", which operates without the need for expensive compressed air and is practically silent 
 

2002

Takeover by the international climate and manufacturing technology group Walter Meier Holding AG and integration into the "air conditioning products" sector 

 

2004

Expansion of sales activities in Europe, North America and Asia

 

2005

DRAABE is recognised as the world's first supplier of air humidification systems and awarded the "Optimised Air Humidification" certificate

 

2007

DRAABE achieves a market breakthrough in the office and small-room air humidification sector with its innovative NanoFog and DuoPur systems

 

2008

DRAABE makes a debut at drupa in Dusseldorf (the world's leading trade fair for the printing industry) with a two-story exhibition stand and chalks up the most successful trade fair attendance in the company's history
