3. Dust Suppression and Humidification
Keeping the dust on the ground!
In those branches of industry where significant dust emissions prevail, air humidification systems are an effective way of respecting limit values, improving process flows and safeguarding the health of employees.
Benefits of air humidification:

Inadequate humidity indoors or outdoors promotes the development of dust and turbulence intensity. A humidity of between 40% and 60%, on the other hand, ensures that the dust in the air is surrounded by a film of water. The absorption of water increases the weight and the dust particles drop to the ground, where they can be removed with ease. An adequate air humidity level cleans the air of dust faster, hence reducing the risk of fine dusts penetrating the respiratory tract. In the case of dust from flammable materials, humidity systems reduce the risk of dust explosion that can occur, for example, due to sparks or electrical discharge.
